Paris, September 27, 2025 – From 2 p.m. to 8 p.m., Maison Tropicaliste (10, Place des Vosges) will host the vernissage of TACH RUG, a Brazilian décor brand that blends innovation, original design, and artisanal excellence.
The highlight of the event will be a pocket show by Lia Paris at 5 p.m., open to the public. A singer, songwriter, and performer celebrated for her fusion of art and music, Lia Paris brings her magnetic presence to honor the creative strength of Brazil in Paris.
Founded by entrepreneurs Alexa Aleixo and Andresa Cartacho, TACH RUG presents its first collection in Paris, featuring unique pieces crafted in Brazil with sustainable raw materials such as banana leaves, sisal from Bahia, PET-bottle wool, and nylon made from plastics removed from the ocean.
Among the highlights are exclusive models signed by Paulo Niemeyer and renowned architect Patrícia Anastasiades, reaffirming the connection between Brazilian design and the international scene.
TACH RUG emerges to reposition Brazilian handcrafted rugs on the global stage, celebrating manual tradition while combining sustainability, innovation, and contemporary lifestyle.
